Technical scrutineering in Italy

Good news: The location for technical scrutineering in Italy is found. And we think, it’s a very good place, a nice 3-star-hotel close to the highway.

The name is apparently made for an event like ours: “Rallye Hotel Voghera”

Nearly in the middle between Milano and Genova and at half way between Piacenza and Genova, not far away of the highway cross (A7/A21 – Tortona), it is very good located:

And also the prices for the rooms, a special offer for the El Chott, are realy good:

double room: 60 €/night – single room: 45 €/night – double room single used: 55 €/night

The scrutineering will start at 25/10/2013 11:30 a.m. and will end at 8:00 p.m.

Next morning at 11:00 a.m. each participant should be in Genova, to be on time for bording.

In off-road circles they are already well known! In 2013 the team “OFFROAD CATERING” around Dirk Neumann and Martin Bradler will be responsible for the supply of food and drinks to the participants and organization staff in all camps of the rally El Chott.

We look forward to a good cooperation, delicious menus and cold beer.

In memory of Ulrich Otto

In July Ulrich Otto died after a short, serious illness. The rally ElChott was his favourite event and his idea was to participate another few times. This is now not longer granted to him. In 2011 he took part despite a devastating cancer diagnosis and occupied in the Enduro class the second place.

In our minds he will be there again also in the coming years.

After the exhibition

Despite adverse weather conditions, we draw a positive conclusion for the “Abenteuer & Allrad 2013”.

We thank all past and future rally participants for their visit at our booth. Many had come to get information about the rally 2013.

In addition to the large number of guests, two superlatives must be highlighted: With the Porsche 911 “Rally Raid”, participant of Teambuctou Classic Rally 2013, we had probably the most photographed vehicle on our stand.

And the best coffee creations of the exhibition, prepared by Säb Ziegler in his 1962’er Coffee-vehicle with an equally old espresso machine, there was at our stand only. This was at least the opinion of the guests.

Abenteuer & Allrad 2013 – we exhibit

In the period from 30.05. – 02.06. 2013 the 15th Off Road Show “Abenteuer & Allrad” will take place in Bad Kissingen.

In the outdoor area, on stand T02, we will present the El Chott and the Rally Trial Germany. We provide the special stages for 2013, show the videos of the last few years and look forward to interesting conversations with participants, ORGA employees and hopefully many interested show visitors.
