… the modified route profile of the new rally El Chott

• 3,100 km of routes in Tunisia
• 1,935 km rally tracks
• 12 days stages
• 1 prologue and 10 special stages
• 50% less dunes-kilometers
• sand and piste stages alternately
• distance stages with daily new paddocks on different destinations, alternating in camps and hotels
• our intention with the new tracks is, to make it possible for all participants to reach these days targets in the time schedule.

For the Discovery Class, the question “how much sand and dunes” depends on the wishes of the participants, like as every year. The guide has promised: “The Lost Lake is of course in the program of 2017″

12 roadbooks for a prologue and 10 special stages in 12 days

• nearly 3,100 rally kilometers are written down
• 2,243 pictures are inserted in 228 pages

Of course there will also be roadbooks for the transfers of the service teams.

The most important preparations for El Chott have been completed. The pre-tour is evaluated, the stages are planned, the camps and hotels are selected.

At th El Chott 2017, DAKTEC will not only care for its own and its customer vehicles. As an official partner of the event organizer they will offer its service also for all other teams and drivers.

Day 13 – 13/04
After breakfast and a picture of the pool at Hotel Hafsi, we started the last special stage: Tozeur – Menzel Habib. After reaching the finish and a short break under an old olive tree, we drove 300 km to the Hotel Le Sultan in Hammamet.

Day 14 – 14/04 – the last day
After a morning swim in the still quite cold Mediterranean Sea and the transfer to La Goualette, our travel homewards at the CTN-ferry “Carthage” starts with a splendid sunshine and 26 ° C.
