The time of the rally preparation is running fast. Now there are only 12 weeks up to the start.
In early August I have to make the pre-orders for ferry and hotels, I have to order the required number of tracking systems and I have to submit lists for the permits.

In this context, I would also remind you that the deadline for “Normal entry fee” ends at last of July.
The pre-meeting of El Chott at 27/09/2014 will be held in another hotel.

The road books for competition and service are ready for printing.

Nothing could stop our team to perform all the tasks as planned.
The defective cooler of the GAZelle was repaired by a workshop in Douz.
The TOYOTA finished the pre-tour after a broken front differential with rear-wheel drive.
And also a broken finger was not an obstacle for a really great team.
On the ferry back to Genoa we had, after seeing the engine room with the 4 impressive V-12 main engines, the possibility to visit the bridge. In addition to many technical details impressed us especially once, to learn the captain’s perspective (and responsibility).
All in all a really great way to end a successful pre-tour.
