Today again, as in the last years, the reference to the required safety equipment according to the regulations. Required for all competition vehicles:
- The GPS device for the own navigation is optional chooseable. Participants devices will be not read out. Recording the track is not so prescribed. The rally-organization is working with Garmin devices. The datas which we will transfer (GPS waypoints and routes) are gdb- or gpx- files. The participant is responsible for the appropriate data cable.
- For the recording of the daily track, the organizers give a special GPS logger. This will be mounted by the ORGA-personnel in / on the vehicle. It is not allowed to change the attachment of the logger or to open the case.
- The installation kit for the EXPLONA tracking system must be mounted before the technical scrutineering, corresponding to installation instruction. The devices must be ordered no later than 18th of September 2012
