Day 1 – 01/04
Yesterday, our small pre-tour team came together in southern Germany. In the meantime we have the first overnight stay in Italy and a first small repair behind us: Let’s go to Genoa to the ferry.

Day 2 – 0/04
Hello Tunisia! After arriving in Tunis we checked the transfer to Mahdia and have now arrived in Résidence & Camping El Kahena directly at the sea. Hubert was responsible for the dinner.
Day 3 – 03/04
Before the working day starts. Breakfast with a great wiew on the Mediterranean Sea.
Tyre pressure adjusted and job started. Transfer checked, prologue checkt, speciale El Hamma-Douz checked. Overnight stay at the camp area “Cinderella” in Douz.
Day 4 – 04/04
The “G” still causes problems. So we have to be start allone to write the special stage from Douz to Ksar Ghilane. At the well the passage of the dune field was completed. From there it was still 120 km to Ksar. With the last rays of the sun we reached the oasis and could enjoy the dinner at Camp Paradis.
Day 5 – 05/04
40 km after the start we reached the dune exit near Bir Soltan. At the well (Roadbook picture 95) there was a late “lunch”. After completion of the special stage, we have now arrived in Tataouine at the Hotel Sangho. Here we will receive this evening the permission for tomorrow’s loop through the southern restricted area.
